Who we are

Motolog is a car maintenance tracking service operated by Craig Newlands, based in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at hello@motolog.co.uk.

What data we collect

• Your name and email address (via Google sign-in)
• Vehicle registration numbers and details you add
• Maintenance job records you log, including dates, mileage, and costs
• Reminders you set for future maintenance

How we use your data

• To provide and operate the Motolog service
• To send maintenance reminder emails you have requested
• To notify you when a garage logs a verified record against your vehicle

We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.

Data storage

Your data is stored securely in the European Union using Supabase (Postgres). Authentication is handled by Google OAuth via Auth.js. Email delivery is handled by Resend.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To request a copy of your data or to delete your account, email hello@motolog.co.uk and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
